Today, well actually this morning, I found out that there’s an extension of Gold Panda’s brilliant album Lucky Shiner and an unreleased song yay which I’m pretty excited about.
So here it is

Ok well I know this is a bit delayed (like a few months), but I love Deadmau5 and this has to be done so excuse the late reaction.
Well Deadmau5 is Canadian born Joel Zimmerman, who prefers to be called a dance music phenomenon instead of a DJ, and he creates the most amazing progressive electro house since I don’t know when but I what I do know is that I love it long time.Deadmau5 has caused some controversies over the past year which has caused people to see him as a douche bag (I totally agree) but its seems to make him a better DJ sorry a dance music phenomenon.
He’s gained major popularity here in S.A. in the last 6 months for Sofi Needs A Ladder which was a pretty good song to break the airwaves with but now it’s growing a little tired and needs to retire pretty soon.
But here are a few tracks that will hopefully get you jamming.
Deadmau5 ft. Greta Svabo Bech- Raise Your Weapon
My favorite Deadmau5 song
Deadmau5 ft. Kaskade- I remember
And a little Drum and Bass to wake you the fuck up

Well according to Shake Your Ass Records the duo of You Killing Me are “two sacred fathers inspired by music” pwahahahahahaha, I rate thats a lie, because anything this filthy can not be created by two sacred fathers and still be considered sacred let alone be accepted back into the church.
Their mini bio describes their music as “Even though most people will tend to think that You Killing Me’s music is aggressive, it forces them to utilize & expel their excess negative energy through thrashing about during dance.” Well fuck yeah if it’s the only way to get me into church then sign me up!
Even though their music doesn’t seem heavenly at all with their Cyberpunk-ish synth and typical electro trash enthusiasm they have added some haunting choir/church music in to the mix literally and it actually works.
With already 1 493 likes on facebook (including me) and a few thousand plays on myspace, it seems withthe immense momentum they’ve been gaining its likely that they’ll be taking over the electro scene very soon.
You Killing Me- Hey!(Mastertrons Remix)
You Killing Me- Grieg(Original Mix)
Does it offend you yeah?- We are the dead (You Killing me Remix)
P.S. Its already happened
Well a few weeks ago during my April holidays our lecturer gave us a project to do while we weren’t at university. She gave us the task of making a graphic novel on our holiday which I haven’t done since I was in grade 2 and I was dreading the thought of having to conjure up and interesting and complete story line from nothing, but to my surprise it actually came out better than I thought and my lecturer seemed pretty impressed as well.
So here are a few snaps of the final product
Today I just found an amazing song and low and behold it was a Bassnectar remix of Ellie Goulding and it pretty brilliant considering the disaster that was the Where Is My Mind remix that Bassnectar bludgeoned a few years ago.
I have forgiven him due to the fact that he came up with that awesome remix of Nelly Furtados Magical World but in the back of my mind I still had the Pixies scratching away at my brain but now the nagging has hopefully disappeared for good now.
So seeing as Ellie has gained major popularity with the dance/electro scene and her voice seems perfect for Dubstep it seems fitting that one of her songs gets a down and dirty remix by Bassnectar. The drum is strong, the growl is deep, the synth is astonishing and the bass is paralyzing so sit back and enjoy.

Ok this is my third blog site thingy that I’ve started this week and its getting a bit tiresome, I’ve been trying to set up an ok-ish blog that kind of drifts over certain things like music and art and other random stuff so if you guys like it yay but if you don’t nay, but right now I actually don’t give a fuck.
My first initial blogs we’re actually really retarded because as I read through them I thought to myself ” Jesus Christ, how thick am I? ” so now I’ve actually put a little thought into this (Hahahaha not really I’m just winging it).
Well today I’ve decided to treat you guys to some amazing South African house, so I introduce you to C.9ine. Their song Wonder is nearly at the top of my most played list on iTunes because it’s the most beautiful song I’ve heard this year so far. When I first heard it I scrambled around the house looking for paper to jot down the lyrics so I could go look for it and when I finally found it my brain sort of melted with ecstaticness. I think what really sold the song was Joao Orecchia voice and his banjo. Hehehehe I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a South African playing a banjo but here’s on.
I’d never heard of C.9ine until now and even though this is the only song that I’ve heard by them so far they’re pretty fan-fucking-tastic which brings me more hope for South African music, so here it is…
